I. What kind of information do we collect from you when you visit our site?

When you visit SkiTownFlavor.com, our stats package from Google collects some basic information about your browser such as what type of browser and operating system you are using, how long you stayed on our site, and what pages you looked at. This helps us understand how visitors browse our site, so that we can make their shopping experience better.

We also collect personal information about you when you check out of our bookings page such as your name, address, postal code, phone number, payment information etc. We need this information to process payment, secure your reservation(s) and ship purchased merchandise to you. If you register for our newsletter or mailing list, we collect your name and email address so that we can notify you of exciting events and sales at Ski Town Flavor. We recognize that many people feel they receive too much email, and therefore rarely send more than one email each week.

If you order merchandise from us to be shipped to a state where we do not hold a shipping permit, we will use a third-party vendor as our compliance partner.  They will collect certain information including your name, birthday, shipping address, and credit card information as necessary to fulfill your shipping order.

Certain states require us to report either monthly, quarterly  or annually about shipments to residents of their states. In those states we will supply the state with the required information which typically includes the purchase price, number of items shipped to you, the UPS tracking information for the package, and the shipping address so that the state can confirm we have accurately reported and paid all taxes owed.

If you order merchandise to be shipped, we will share your shipping address and the size and weight of the package with UPS who is our authorized shipping partner. This information is required to ensure UPS assesses the correct shipping charge for each order.

 

II. Sharing of personal information - we don't do it.

Other than as may be necessary for credit card processing or shipping of your orders, we do not share your personal information that we collect with any third parties or web sites. All the information you give us is completely private and used solely for order processing and shipping. If you give us permission to send you marketing emails then we use your email for that purpose, but never does that email get sold or distributed to any other web site or list.

III. Newsletter Opt-Out.

If you have chosen to opt into our newsletter or marketing emails and decide to opt out, we have a simple unsubscribe form that will let you get off our email list. Also, under the member area, you will find a simple form to unsubscribe.
